The Way Home
PLAY GUIDE
You are not the hero of this world.
You are the absence — a moving void that gives up its own space so that lost little souls can find their way home.
Your goal in each level is simple:
- Guide every soul to its target,
- Reach your own goal,
- And do it with as few OFFERS as possible.
Think of OFFERS as small acts of sacrifice. When you shoot, you permanently change the board: dark tiles can become white paths for souls, bridges can be consumed, and fragile routes can disappear after a single use. Every shot is both a solution and a cost.
The key to playing is to plan for after-effects, not just immediate moves:
- A perfect route often looks impossible until you imagine which tiles you can afford to lose.
- White tiles belong to the souls, not to you — you walk on absence, they walk on light.
- Bridges, fragile tiles, and one-way paths are all about direction and commitment: once something changes, you can’t take it back.
Try to see each level as a small story of trade-offs:
How much of yourself (your space) are you willing to give up so that these souls can reach home?
